LPGA Legends Coming to Jackson
June 18, 2015
The Legends are coming, the Legends are coming! Wondering who will tee it up in the Wendy's Charity Classic Pro-Am this year at the Country Club of Jackson? Let's just say it's a lot of talent. And a lot of heart. We're expecting up to 25 LPGA Tour veterans now active on The Legends Tour, official senior tour of the LPGA, to descend upon the Pines-Woods course at the club on Monday, August 10 and team up with 100 sponsors and amateurs to support the cause: Wendy's Wonderful Kids and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Led by Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez, who last visited Jackson in 2012, many of these Legends know the way to Jackson by heart, as they've been coming since 1999. They'll kick things off at the Sunday evening Pairings Party and Adoption Benefit scheduled for August 9 and then join their amateur foursomes on Monday, August 10 for a 10:00 AM shotgun and 18 fun-filled holes of scramble golf.
